In late
2006 our company was approached by
the well known interior designer
LINDA BEDELL of ASPEN COLORADO to
design and produce the BLUESTONE
CLADDING for the exterior of the
main buildings to be known as THE
FARM , CAPE KIDNAPPERS GOLF RESORT
AND LUXURY LODGE. As well as the
exterior cladding there were 5
major FIREPLACES & CHIMNEYS to
compliment the design. After
producing many samples and building
miniature walls Linda decided on
the BLUESTONE look with heavy
rustic mortar in natural grey.
During 4
months in 2007 our focus was on
producing a spectacular look for THE
FARM , and every aspect had to
achieve the desired effect. The
BLUESTONE look had to blend with the
sheer luxury of the surroundings but
still look as though it was 50 years
old. With many contractors working
on the site [ perched at the top of
a hill 800 feet above the sea with
little parking on a wet site] it was
no easy task. With huge input from
our dedicated team we finished the
work on time and on budget
LINDA
BIDELL and her employers, JULIAN and
JOSIE ROBINSON were absolutely
astounded by the finished stonework.
The look of the manufactured stone,
shape, colour patina was perfect in
every respect The Owners,
Architects, and the Builders were
all in harmony with congratulations
on the way we had carried the work
through from design, manufacture and
installation.
At the
final walk through LINDA said ; "
Right from the start we knew we had
picked the right company to create
this exciting design. your overall
performance and professionalism in
every respect could not be faulted.
The look is of the highest quality
,exactly as we had envisaged in the
original concept drawings. I give
you the utmost praise for your
cooperation and achievments on this
project"
